Tested on BM - 61% mastery, 15% versa, 4800AP.
1st issue:
Pets have too much AP. For 4800AP hunter, pet has 3800AP. 4800*0,6=2880. WAAAY too much diffrence.
2nd issue:
Wrong basic attack and melee attack formulas:
Melee attack formula - 2*(Pet AP=0,6*Hunter's AP)/3.5. Further increased by combat exp, versa, mastery (for bm)
2*2880/3.5*1.7*1.15*1.61=5180 5180 * 0,85(pvp) * 0,97 (versa) * 0,865 (armor) = 3700 damage on me. 4880 for 3800AP, so formula on server is incorrect.
Basic attack formula - 1,5*2*(Pet AP)/3.5 = 5550 damage on me. 7300dmg for 3800AP.
Pets deal 200% of their supposed damage!!!

Wowhead formula www.wowhead.com/spell=17253/bite says bite damage is same as melee attack, So it prolly is just 3700 not 5550.

I'm sorrry but i cannot agree with that. What you pasted only proves my calculations. I forgot 10% dmg from spiked collar, but for melee attack it's just 3700*1.1=4070. That's not even close to 8k it does. Hunter would have to have like 10k AP, base...
As to basic, i don't see how they are bugged. You can see bite for 5.3k and for 10.6k, due to 100% more dmg for 100% more focus. 5300 is still 30% higher damage than 4070, what it should be.
Also, as i said earlier, pet not only has wrong formula for damage, but also has wrong formula for AP. It's proven not only by testing damage itself, but also on pet stats window, where for hunter's 4800AP pet has 3880AP, while should have only 2800AP. Thats 40% more it should.

Go ahead, test it on Grommash, where i tested. Pet AP was DEFINITELY NOT 60% of hunters AP, just read what i wrote on first post
And, where did i say that they have "more than 200% AP than then should"? I said they do 200% of their normal damage, that's 100% more - math.
I said that they have 1. wrong AP, more than 60% of hunters. AND 2. Formula for their damage is wrong. THESE TWO things COMBINED make them deal 100% more damage than they should.
Also, pasting youtube video with 710 gear, when we have 660 on server, and saying that damage matches, proves only that you're wrong.
They don't want to script hunt on this server ....
When they script a spec they up the other since 6 month and we never see it in the changelog

Why is the CM even comparing damage to retail. He gave you the full correct formula and calculations based on stats from a hunter on firestorm... there is no way doing 30k+ bites and 60k+ normal kill commands is legit with 660 ilvl gear..
Thing is Hayzar those maths have been alredy tested and applyed b4! (also i tested on retail as naked and same here!) Damage here was less(no joke there was 100damage dif)

Thats a lie i tested on my hunters and for example my fully 660 pvp hunter has 4.282AP
Pets from that hunter have 2.569AP
60% of 4.282= exatly 100% correct!

Tested on grommash? Send ss, you're either testing on diffrent server, or you're sending me spell power instead of attack power, because SP is currently exactly 60% of hunter's AP, but spellpower is irrelevant.
Okay, so, turns out pets are affected by buffs on themselves. Pet had 10% more AP from DKs horn of winter. So, pet's get 60% of hunter's AP, but both Hunter is affected by buffs, and pet.
Which is yet another bug.

Well i dont know what you guys going to do with BM, but if you rollback and they have the same damage than 2 or 3 weeks ago.. so many people going to get pissed so take care... I'm tired of going to a BG and see that 8+/20 players are noobs hunters BM all using the same buged talents and same pets... if they get OP again i leave this for a time...

i was using mastery buff in both cases and crit(spirit beast blessing)
survival is still so fcking op, it needs 15-20% less damage!
At least say why and what is broken, show some proofs and make a new report... this report is for BM.
this report is for all specs... learn to read, and i dont know about sv, i just feel his damage, you use sv and you know its broken why dont u tell us whats broken? or you swear its just balanced? liar.
I'm sure you dont make pve with sv hunter, u would see his damage then... people talks and disagrees without making test, ah you are a hunter, now i understand...
