Today we would like to share an important announcement with everyone, and we kindly ask you to read it carefully:

After a lot of consideration, we have decided to permanently close several legacy realms:

• Deathwing (Cataclysm)
• Gul'Dan (WoD)
• Greymane (Legion)
• Sethraliss (BfA)
• Oribos (Shadowlands)
• Valdrakken (Dragonflight)

* These realms will be shut down on June 29
 

• What are the reasons?

1. We understand these realms hold many memories for our players, but after evaluating their activity, which is really low (peak < 30 online), spreading our resources (staff members,  sys admin....) and other important factors, we believe this is the best step forward for the future of the server.

2. We would like to focus in our more active realms, especially in the main realm, Dornogal. About this realm, we are in the process of hiring developers to actively fix old content, providing a better game experience.

3. There's also good news on the way that we'll share with you, we have been working since awhile on one extension that we plan to relaunch as a fresh realm, we'll be back with more info about that soon!
 

• What if a Legacy Account is not linked to a Firestorm Account yet?

If you still play with a Legacy Account from Millenium, Earthquake, Pandashan or Ashran and you haven't linked it to a Firestorm Account yet, now is the time to do so, you can do it directly from this link: "link your account". 
 

• What will happen to achievements, items, and other collections?

We will perform a synchronization process on June 29, meaning that toys, transmogrifications, achievements, and similar collections will remain on your account and they will be available to you in Dornogal (TWW).

We will not be able to sync the Legacy Accounts that were not linked. That is why we strongly recommend linking your account.
 

• What about my characters?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to properly convert characters to the current realm, Dornogal (TWW). Because of this, we're extending Boris's stay in Dornogal by one more week, until June 22, he will offer a character boost lvl 70 with basic starter gear on that realm so you can begin your adventure there if you are interested.

But if you're not interested in playing in Dornogal, we'll keep the option in the shop to copy or transfer characters from WoD to Legion or from Cataclysm to MoP, this option will become free and is temporary, it will only be available until June 29. 

Regarding BfA, SL, or DF realms, almost all the characters are already in TWW, because they got ported automatically with each new expansion release, but if that's not the case, you can use Boris to have a fresh character to play in Dornogal. 
 

• What about my spent Firestorm Points?

A refund will be issued for all Fs Points spent on those realms from the past 12 months up to the present day (10 last months for Valdrakken realm).
Purchases made in the shop after this announcement will not be refunded.

We want to thank you for everything you've put into these realms, and for being part of Firestorm throughout all these years 

But like everything, things move forward, and it's time to make way for what's coming next.
