We have decided to make some changes on our development cycle, our working and communication ways.
The past week, several issues has been found on the Mists of Pandaria realms, bound to the update performed on that Monday. The realms suffered for several instabilities and issues. This is not the first time that happens on our realms. We elected to propose a weekly update to the Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor realms, and even with the fixes, the risk of finding a problem active was very high. We were also losing development time. The Friday on the afternoon it was dedicated on implementing the update of the Monday. The Monday in the morning we were applying the update, and that day in the afternoon we were already fixing this related to the update. Besides, the testing time for the Class Masters was too short: only 2 days for testing the full update.
We have take in mind several suggestions related to this theme, with the objective of reviewing our development cycle and being able to offer a more successful and complete update. There will not be more weekly updates. We will perform them monthly, but with a very different organization. This updates will be described as a cycle, and every cycle is one update. At the beginning of every cycle, we will define a plan with the features that will be implemented during the cycle. And during 3 weeks (this duration won't be fixed, it will last from 2 weeks to 3 weeks), we will develop this features. At the end of this first phase, we will setup a quality control realm (different from the PTR). It will have everything that the developers implemented during the first cycle. This realm will be available during 1 week (approximately, depending on the time needed). During the second phase, our developers will focus on fixing all issues found on this realm. The objective of this is not only to have time for develop, but also for fix the new developed content. When the update is validated, it will be implemented on the PTR.
Our main objective with this is giving more importance to the testing period, by giving it more time. For accomplishing this objective, we are going to hire a group of players that will test every update performed. They will test every element that might have been affected by the update, from generic systems to quests, going through raids and instances as well. The Class Masters will be able to test every change performed on every class and they will have a whole week for testing every update on classes.
For being able to complement this changes, we will implement some rounds of questions and answers in the Discord platform. This sessions will be a good occasion for asking questions about the development and what is going to be implemented on the realm. The Discord server will be accesible always, and when there is a question / answering session, we will create a channel dedicated to it. There will be a summary after them. The players can access the Discord server through this URL. The sessions will be exclusively on English with the objective of allowing the maximum amount of players to participate.
This week will be the last week in which we make a weekly update. After it, we will implement the new development system. For being able to start properly right, there will be a question / answer session the Tuesday 17 of May at 16:00 (Paris Time) and will last aproximately one hour. After that session, we will start working on the first development cycle.

good news tho :)
