Topic: Midsummer Event, everything tested and heres the complete detailed Bugreport (Event ccant be completed)
1.For Horde Faction [Extinguishing Eastern Kingdoms] does not work:
"Arathi Highlands"(44,46) & "The Hinterlands"(14,50) Bonfire does not give quest, Npc and Bonfire there, so Ally can honor but Horde can't desecrate
2.For Alliance Faction [Flamekeeper of Kalimdor] does not work:
"Ashenvale"(87,42) Bonfire is there, but not the Npc, so Ally cant honor but Horde can desecrate
3.For both Faction the Achievement [Burning Hot Pole Dance] does not work, though dancing with full Set on pole... Character does not even do spinning animation when activating pole
4.For both Faction the achievement [Torch Juggler] wont work, the [Juggling Torch] can be purchased and used, but nothing happens
5.For both Faction the the Quests: [Torch Tossing] [More Torch Tossing] [More Torch Catching] do not work, torches have target marker but wont juggle or incinerate, maybe can be only solved by autocomplete
6.For both Factions its possible extinguishing all enemy Faction Bonfires in Pandaria, but not to honor any of their own respective Faction Bonfires in Pandaria.
Either quest can be taken but not turned in, or it can be turned in but wont list on achievements.
Congratulations Sarah, this report is very detailed and comprehensive, I hope it will be resolved. This is very sad for all collectors of achievements, I remember that happened the same for the halloween event, but no one bothered to fix the missing achievements.

Just to update, Flamekeeper of Kalimdor works for Horde But not sure if it works for Alliance
it just lists what issnt working, so yeah Flamekeeper of Azeroth is working for Horde. So is Desecration of the Horde working, but not Desecration of the Alliance, cause no quest from hinterland and Arathi :D *Thumbs up*

how can a report with so many upvotes + activity still be on status "new report" and priority "normal"... it should be at least forwarded, confirmed and maybe even set higher priority because theres not time forever to fix it, the event will be over after 10 days... And then waiting again for a year with the cahnce that then again nothing happens is kinda... lame.
I know I demand something, which i cant be granted to expect, but then again, hey- its not as much to fix as other stuff, just some autocompletes, 2 npc and some questholders fixed... and people do like world events, they are just to lazy upvoting on bugtracker... much more people complain on worldchat about it, then those voting here

The kimg fire festival quest doesn't work for alliance faction only for hordes :(
What i meant is you can't get the achievment called king of fire festival from alliance only hordes are able to get it.

I have mailed GM and Devs on a broader scale to see if they maybe missed this one here out. Maybe its only about recognition. Like most people are to lazy to come and contribute on bugtracker (exceptions are already evident here), but I bet if a GM would ask 3 times in 1 hour on worldchat who is all sad about that event not working, he would get endless number of answers.

with all these comments i'll believe/trust on the fact its indeed broken. but i cant tell for sure myself since im not into those kind of events. (might be a reason why others didnt comfirm it yet)
besides that fact are there bigger problems out there that require more attention then those events (class balance, not working items etc - more the end-game kind of stuff that actually have a "bigger" impact on the game (can't say that it always happens tho)
also with the new development cycle stuff like events needs to be reported on time (and actually before the event has started, but i can expect to be very hard/undoable) but since the new development cycle there is only 1 "big" content update every month that has been tested correctly and thus also preventing bugs from hitting the life realms (unlike the old system where it happend alot more/worse then the current situation) because of that are events that last only a few weeks are rly hard to fix due to the fact the development cycle lasts 4 weeks.
i hope i could help abit / clearify the situation why it might not have been fixed yet. (Keep in mind the're nearly 13 thousends of reports throughout the whole bugtracker over all expansions with just a limited amount of time/devs to work on it. that's why some tickets are untouched for along long time.)

well the answer there now was kinda selfexplanatory, so I am at least glad something happened. Though it sounds like this years event wont be fixed in time anymore. We tested with our guild the event right when it started and many people helped on large scale, but we simply could not report it "in time" cause we were only able to test it when it was live... #feelsbadman
I heard tho it has been like that for last 3 years on this event, and already got reported back then but nothing happened... though back then it was not reported as precise as here. at least I hope our work pays off for next years people.
Hello...well even when i dont fix things in mop normally and even when i dont feel fixing request of playersmore, since the greenfire scenario...
I will try to help you with this. If you want to fix this fast, i will need the correct wowheadlinks of the gameobjects which give the buggued quests and the correct wowheadlinks of the npcs which give the buggued quests.
But i will advice you one thing, i cant fix the achievements, so if when you complete the quest the achievement doesnt work, i wont can fix it. I will tell it to a core dev if need but i dont promise anything so...

1,2,5 fixed (5 done autocompletable the 3 quests,too much work for the short time).
3,4 will be complicated or maybe impossible for me but we will see when i check it.Surely a core dev is need for it.

Sound nice over all, but yeah the dancing on pole thing and the torch juggling i already thought gonna be difficult. Also cant be autotriggered... Or well achievements cant be autocomplete like quests.
Will be realy nice to see this event fixed before it ends,since im missing only this one for the whole meta achievement whitch grant the violet proto drake.....and surely such meta achievment is gonna be a big ACHIEVEMENT for the private server itself :)

6 it isnt counting for the achievement, need to be fixed by core devs too.

dagonate probably ment that for some meta achievements you need to complete certain achievs on both alliance and hord side in ordeer to complete the whole meta achievement for the world event.

Yea, however this turns out, I am really already gratefull u guys tried it. This bugtracker report actually is a good proof of how devs and the team care for players. When I started all of this, many people tried to shut me down and sasy things like: No way they will do anything about it, not in that time given, and actually no one of them cares and stuff like that... Well the next time I see one of those non-believers going wild on this server in world chat, I can simply link him this report and think for myself "eat my shorts"...
So even if it can't be fully fixed, we all see that you guys tried what's possible in that short amount of time. This is a nice joint-venture of players, devs, gm's and Q&A team... YES WE CAN!

The rest works properly.
Everything works fine apart from Arathi Highlands alliance bonfire, it gives you quest but you can't complete it

guys it works... just take the quest on ally fire BUT turn it on on horde fire GG
