Gold Sellers & Buyers

We have recently noticed an influx in the number of people purchasing and selling gold across all expansions. We have developed and deployed systems in place across our expansions to track potential sellers and buyers! The main issue is that the sellers have been using exploits in-game (which have been corrected) to gain an enormous amount of gold, increased the number of accounts compromised, and have a bad influence on the in-game economy.

Along with the ban of all their accounts, we can't just ignore the fact players were also supporting them by purchasing their gold. With that being said, we have suspended more than 800 accounts for 30 days and the gold on their accounts have been reset. Most third party sites are using phishing attempts in order to retrieve your account information and sometimes even hack your account to sell gold.

We take this issue very seriously, anyone caught buying items, gold, etc. from third party websites for real life currency will result in a permanent account closure. The only place where you can get in-game goods (items, gold, mounts etc.) from is our official shop. Our shop is located on our website at https://firestorm-servers.com/.

I am wait 3 mount for this 7.2.0 I was download the legion from blizzard and now blizzard upgraded to 7.2.5 and I don't want to play on blizzard ,I am waiting for this server I like this server than other servers this server have bugs nothing I can do so this is good than other servers.

Finally. im sick of getting whispers from people telling me to goto their site. makes me angry. I've even had to shut down one of their sites because some retars decided to spam me with "VISIT OUR SITE TO PURCHASE GOLD FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY"

I understand why you would want to keep your security up to protect your community but this seems to be a bit rash when you cancel purchases from your own website. I have played for over 10 years on various servers and have been a gm on others but to keep your own community from making purchases that would help the character they may be working on at the time seems a bit harsh and counterproductive to your own community using your own vendors. If you have a security issue then say so and close it down until you get it fixed but don't penalize your membership from using your own vendors for items that you are selling to help maintain your community. I will get by but your security team asked for proof of a purchase that was done while I was getting ready to play and I did not print a receipt. I was also asked to send you my id which is as much of a security breach as you may be trying to prevent. Sorry I will not provide my ID via an email as I have no way to prove who has access to it as it travels between the US and France and however many servers it may pass through. Sorry not worth it. Keep your items and I will keep my money and possibly give it to a different server if I decide to switch again. I hate doing that but will not risk my info for your email curiosity.
