Gruul's overhead smash go bugged while the boss is in http://www.wowhead.com/spell=155539/destructive-rampage#changelog
Let me explain this weird bug:
On the normal phase, the http://www.wowhead.com/spell=155301/overhead-smash focus on a player and get casted and the visual effect follow the spell cast, I mean, where the visual effect appeards, the damage of the spell is going to land there 100% sure.
On http://www.wowhead.com/spell=155539/destructive-rampage#changelog , http://www.wowhead.com/spell=155301/overhead-smash it's supposed to be casted on randon locations of the rooms, but instead, the http://www.wowhead.com/spell=155301/overhead-smash target a player(like in the normal phase) and cast the spell on him but the visual effect doesn't follow the smash, instead it appeard on a randon location of the room, how it's supose to be in this phase. Summarizing, when the boss is on destructive rampage, the smash should follow the visual effect. Right now it's "invisible".

On the minute 2:08, Gruul begins the destructive rampage, his first smash it's casted right(he focused a member of the group when he shouldn't) and visual effect follow, but, in the minute 2:12, he casts the second smash, the visual effect it's oriented to the door of the room but instead the damage lands into the raid killing 5 members(because the smash wasn't randon, it focused a player and landed the damage there) subsequence smash of this phase had the same issue. When the destructive rampage ended, the smash were okay again and working fine.
How we discovered the bug and manage to kill him after 15 wipes?
On the destructive rampage phase, the group stick together and we always were moving together to the left, even if the visual was in the opposite site of the room, even if the visual was in the location where we were moving to. Doing this, we didn't take ANY damage on the phase. That's how we discovered that the smash was focusing the player of the group you can see in the video and the visual effect was randon. Hope you could understand me and fix the issue as soon as possible :).

It was really stressful killing this boss because we were doing all the mechanics right but we died always until we discovered the bug :(

Hi, we've managed to do it with 2 differents strategies but still didn't killed yet ( 20-30% for best trys).

IN fact even if we had discovered the bug (monday), we didn't have the motivation to continue trying the boss (I've tried with 2 guilds in the french realm), we expected using the official strategy ( 2 separate groups), even so, when an oversmash lands in normal phase, we decided for both groups to move, but its is too complicated for everybody to move and getting prepared for the next inferno slice like you can see in our videos.
Like u said it's a bite stressfull to not kill him as you know you did killed him many times before.
But we'll try your strategy in the rampage phase.

Hope the dev's could fix this issue asap.

Noticed it yesterday, has to get fixed cause otherwise surviving the fight will almost be just luck.
