The following spell: (Screech), casted by Nest Guardians of Ji-Kun, is bugged because it slows the global cooldoown by 30%. Instead it should reduce the cast time of every cast spell by 30%.

Yes...healers can't cast any spell...without this fix Ji Kun Hero is impossible to kill.

Ji kun is possible to kill, but you have to kill Guardians before they cast their screech. If they cast it, you can just wype and try it again. Plus, if you're casting while the Guardian is using Screech, you wont be able to use any spell until you Alt f4 (you cant cast after a wype).

False, why should we work hard to make this boss? The spell of the guardians is bugged, he should just stop and slow down the spells, not inhibit them completely !!!!! ALT F4? It seems normal as what?

Maybe is possible, but only if you have class with many stuns and crowd controls... but anyway the screech works bad because if they can cast it all, the raid can't cast spell for a long time so for example during quills of ji-kun we can't use defensive cds or healing cds.. in case like this it means direct wipe.. About alt f4.... it's not normal that you must restart game for a spell that works bad... it's patently a disadvantageous bug in any way you see it

Hello everybody,

I've looked about this carefully, and there're several things to say. First of all, Screech seems to work the same way as on retail. Second thing is: you're not supposed to let the Nest Guardians cast Screech. In order to do that, at least one player should always be in melee with him, until he dies. So, it's up to you to know the nests order and the timers, to be in the nest where a guardian will appear to take him in melee immediately and so avoid he casts Screech.

"If the group leaves the nest with the guardians alive, they will silence healers and wipe the raid."

That's what seems to happen to you... Anyway, I'll look for more information, so I don't close the ticket now.

Wowhead is more reliable than wowpedia currently, after all in these years blizzard had made a partnership with that site, there is also an account access from battle.net to wowhead, infact wowhead is based on dungeon journal, and follow the exact description of the spell/item/etc..

Then, as the description of the spell says "

Victims have Their casting speed reduced by 30% until they finish casting Their next spell."
We let us reflect on the last period: " ... until they finish casting Their next spell."
So after suffering the effect, he continues until the player uses the next spell. the problem is just that, Screech does not work well because after stopping the spell, is no longer able to use the spell again. and after the wipe, the spells still do not work, and this is not normal, after a wipe there should be a complete reset to try again, but this does not happen because the spell does not work, forcing all raid members to have to close the game by force, to restore everything, this is definitely not normal.

I want analize what the spell says in game, on dungeon journal and on wowhead.

Inflicts 16200 to 19801 Physical damage to all targets within 500 yards and interrupts any spell currently being cast by the victim.
Victims have their casting speed reduced by 30% until they finish casting their next spell.

We can divide this in three parts:
1) Inflicts 16200 to 19801 Physical damage to all targets within 500 yards (this totally works)
2) It interrupts any spell currently being cast by the victim (caupt interrupt as you know is totally different from silence, but also if it was a silence, silence works on magic spell... instead because of this bug all the raid can't cast spell anymore and the unique way to solve this it's to relog)
3) Victims have their casting speed (not global cooldown or other things) reduced by 30% (so explain the point 2, this is not a silence but an interrupt) until they finish casting their next spell. (so from this last part i'm sure that after screech i can cast other spells)

I want add a other thing we can read on both sites (and dungeoin journal) regards nest guardians:
4)If not actively engaged in melee combat Nest Guardians will Screech, inflicting 16200 to 19801 Physical damage and interrupting the current spellcast of all players. Mana-using players will have their casting speed reduced by 30% until they successfully cast their next spell.

(This point 4 confirm all what i've said first but adds the fact that nest guardians CAN'T cast screech it if we are in melee combat..
I'm sure at 99% that we was two melee to tank him but despite this he casted screech, so we don't need to stun them right?)

are you guys for real? you do realize this is on Heroic difficulty right? you ARE supposed to work hard to kill it....and to be frank....it's easy as pie..so man up and work hard to kill it...even if screech was "fixed" still you wont be able to kill Jikun if it starts casting Screech...(the fixed one)....then just work hard to make it work without any stacks on screech....CAUSE ITS DAMN HEROIC....stop making shortcuts and get it done

No one is making any shortcuts to anything. its stupid and irritating to have to deal with this bugged spell, that silences u perm unless you relog every time u are affected by the spell. and they are right. they also forgot to mention the fact that even if u do manage to kill the guardian at the nest, you still remain perma silenced ... the spell needs to be fixed.. and thats bottom line.. am sure if it was a players spell that was bugged, and pple were abusing that spell, it would be fixed in less than 3-4 days..

PS. give people a good raid fight.. and stop making shortcuts by telling players to accept it..

i repeat, why i must accept an harder tactic caused by a bugged spell? Phonso has right... If it was a positive bug exploitable, it would be fixed in few days, while if there is a negative bug i must find a way to evade it... I'm also forced to change my play style, my talents and group settings for a negative bug.. seriously?

Phonso, the reason why abusive bugs that can give you alot of benefit will get fixed alot faster than "negative" bugs is the fact it might not only affect pve but also pvp (and thus kinda removing the pvp balance if its a player spell) and for those "positive" abusive bugs that will get fixed faster is because we want to prevent players from over-abusing it. why do you even PvE to begin with then? PvE is about the challange and fun, not only because of the loot. loot should be the tool for a guild to kill bosses normally. (that should atleast be a healthy mindset for a heroic raiding guild)

but yea, that ability might be bugged in a negative way. but i've seen people bypass the negative bug by changing their strategy around it and thus it doesn't have a hurry. the fact the encounter can still be done but on a diffirent way doesn't mean it should be focussed and fixed faster then the positive abusable bugs

Well there s soo many things that need to be fixed before that bug ( it is anoying ) but as Kily said there must be preority and there is . Makes it harder ( not impossible) just figure out the nest order and u ll be fine . That encounter is actually one of the best "workish" in that instance for Heroic mode .

since SoO development has started most of the ToTHC fights will kinda be ignored from this point since Siege is more important

since 90% of ToTHC is doable legit without abuses etc its actually not even a big deal to go back. the only fight i can right now think of that doesnt rly work on a way that you wnt be able to kill it legit is twins but rest works all fine.

ToTNM is completely doable aswell and shouldnt need re-checks on it neither since everything is doable fine.

Well I would like to point to Durumu Heroic - there s issue with "Force of will" http://www.wowhead.com/spell=136932/force-of-will , the visual for that spell is kind of buggy makes it really hard to avoid ( sometimes impossible ) Players that are not even close to the area get knocked as well . Fight is still doable , but makes great deal of negative impact on the motivation of the group doing it . Cause basicly even if u avoid the visual ( the area where he s gonna blast ) you cant be 100 % sure u ll actually still be on the platform after that . And we all know that loosing 1-2 key players on any stage like this in a fight like Durumu heroic makes it a wipe . I mean its just anoying to rely on luck for something like that . Also "2 phase " with Disintegration beam - there s no actual Maze that u can follow and avoid the purple slug that the Eye fills the room with . Well there is , but it pops randomly now and then . So u r forced to stack and try to outheal it :) Considering those 2 issues and the fact that every player has his turn of making misstakes - we never couldve actually kill that boss on that difficutly . Just makes it really anoying and ppl loose motivation after the 5 th wipe cause they get knocked out for no reason what so ever . But as you said they have other priories now - sady this will leave Durumu heroic for us undefeated I guess .
