Tests with www.wowhead.com/item=44095/grand-staff-of-jordan (lv 100 version) Retail values are from time it was still same version as our server's. I also have a test values with Trainee's Staff, I might update the infos here later.
Stats:

For some reason I have 1346 attack power without any buff or armor on FS, while on retail only had 1282. (This is for Windwalker only. MW stats were same on both)
The damages didn't vary much per each cast on each version. The different versions show big differences still.

At the beginning of the month when I tested on QA (August), they were exactly numbers like on my retail tests (max about 1% +- differences occured, but it's just because they don't always damage the same.) So I assumed it would be updated the same on live. The problem might have been that an older patch got applied to live (as the first attempt of fixing the damage caused overscaling), and the later patch which normalized the damage wasn't.
