MAIN azerite trait https://www.wowhead.com/spell=272892/wracking-brilliance work not right.
When this trais is active and at this time it proc again, then the trait buff should be refreshed.
At our server, the buff active for 6 seconds, and if it proc again in these 6 seconds, it does not update the buff. So this proc just gone to nothing.
Because of this, the uptime of this trait is low. Especially on many targets. A lot of procs just gone to nothing.
Proff. A lot of procs on 10+secs instead of just 6 sec procs only. Thats mean what he got 6 sec proc and before this buff extends proc refreshed.

So trait should proc for every second shard from agony. Its simple.
1 shard
2 shard - proc
3 shard
4 shard - proc
5 shard
6 shard - proc
etc...
I tested around a bit and I can confirm this problem!
2 minutes on 4 dummies and I almost consistently go 2+ shards in a 6 second window.
Never did the buff refresh. Please fix it.
So right now one of the strongest - if not THE strongest - affliction azerite trait loses huge value in ST and even more in multitarget fights.
This is almost 3000(!) spellpower going to waste on 3 slotted 415 azerite items, this amounts to ~25-35% extra spellpower depending on your ilvl.
I got logs from BoD Champion of Light mythic.
Classic agony multidot fight for soul shard and inevitable demise generation.
So I dotted the boss + 3 adds. That are 4 target with an agony debuff uptime of ~75% on mobs overall.
I got 35 UAs out. Minus 3 shards that you start every combat with = 32.
So I generated 32 shards which would mean I should've gotten 16 WB procs, but I only got 8.

ALSO: Soul shard tracking is all wrong!
When I multidot 4 dummies I generate many shards. But even if WB is NOT active at the time I often generate 2-3 sometimes even 4 soul shards before WB procs again.
I would guess it tracks individual shard generation per mob instead of overall shard generation.
So if I agony 4 mobs A,B,C and D only every second shard per mob is proccing WB I assume.
Like:
Mob_A Shard_1
Mob_B Shard_1
Mob_C Shard_1
Mob_A Shard_2 *WB procs*
Mob_D Shard_1
Mob_A Shard_3
Mob_B Shard_2 *WB procs*
Mob_C Shard_2 *WB procs*
Mob_C Shard_3
Mob_D Shard_2 *WB procs*
Mob_B Shard_3
Mob_D Shard_3
But it should be 2nd overall:
Mob_A Shard_1
Mob_B Shard_1 *WB procs*
Mob_C Shard_1
Mob_A Shard_2 *WB procs*
Mob_D Shard_1
Mob_A Shard_3 *WB procs*
Mob_B Shard_2
Mob_C Shard_2 *WB procs*
Mob_C Shard_3
Mob_D Shard_2 *WB procs*
Mob_B Shard_3
Mob_D Shard_3 *WB procs*
PS: Sorry for the huge wall of text! Hope it helps! Please dont "resolve" this ticket like the last one, it still does NOT work properly :(
Yep.
Report confirmed.
status changed from resolved to report confirmed
Thanks a lot.
There is a 2 bugs
1) Buf doesnt refresh
2) Wrong proc tracking from agonus at diffrent targets.
So need to fix this 2 bugs)
Okay, i've been testing this aprox 4h.
This happened.
First time when i got azerite armor with that trait it didnt work like its supposed to, i had break points of 5 sec and more or i couldn't get even if i get 4 shards from a single target. Since you can get the buff only from single target agony shard generation, using it on aoe increases the chances slightly of getting the buff since some of the target with agony if you get lucky can generate 2 shards fast.
After all the tests, i reloged and rechanged the traits. tested it again and it worked.
i had up-time for around 10 sec, than break point of 1 to 3 sec and again upt-ime of 6 to 10 sec and it continued like that. So it was the issue with azerite armor, sometimes it bugs out like it bugs of for shadow priest chorus of insanity . Just relog and rechange your traits and it should fix a problem.
