A lot of this is new technology to WoW so we've been working out the kinks as we approach beta. Unfortunately, one of the parts of the system we weren't able to get implemented in time for Legion was a way to make these values transparent to you in-game. It's something we're working on, but felt getting behind-the-scenes functionality out for launch was very important.
We'd like to share a lot of the tuning values with you here to help you understand what adjustments have been made. We're certainly open to feedback and refinement of these values.
To get started, every character entering a PvP instance has a base template of stats that is scaled to a target item level. For simplicity sake, we're going to focus here on level 110 values which budget players at item level 850. Based on our experience in beta, we felt the ratio of damage to health was a bit high, so this set of stats has a bit less primary stat and a bit more stamina that someone would in 850 gear.
Primary Stat (Agility, Intellect, Strength): 11475
Secondary Stat (Mastery, Critical Strike, Haste, Versatility): 4079
Stamina: 22000
For each spec, these stats are adjusted up or down by a multiplier that defaults to 1.0 (or 100%). For example, casters (like mages and warlocks) and healers do not benefit from the damage values on their weapons, so additional primary stat is budgeted on weapons throughout the game. Accordingly, all caster classes have a primary stat multiplier of 1.55 in PvP. This represents a 55% increase in Intellect for these specs.
We also have a blanket "Mod Damage Done" aura on all of the PvP templates for when we want to reduce damage but not primary stat. Healers are the best application of this aura. We may want to buff a Restoration Shaman's healing output, but we don't want their lava bursts to hit like trucks. Currently, all healers have a 25% reduction in damage against other players. Discipline Priests are the only exception as doing damage is part of how they heal.
Also, for individual spells, we can increase or decrease their effect while in PvP combat. This includes PvP instances like battlegrounds and arenas, but also World PvP and duels. If we want to decrease the amount of healing that Death Strike does in PvP by half, we set the PvP multiplier of that effect to 0.5.

u should delete that 0 on 50% Crimson Vial heal, cuz it heals 5% LUL
pvp templates are not completely active since some classes have 25k+ primary stats, and are not casters...
and other have 10-11k
Can you give some class/spec examples ?
you are the staff, make instant 110 all classes and enter arena in a test server or while setting the server offline and fix, i do not have all classes to give accurate information
explain how the EXACT formula works with ( pvp template primary * class bonus * item level ) so we players know to help where is wrong

Mages primary resource is mana.
Currently, doing PVP as an arcane mage is very hard!
Ending up eating 30% of the whole time spent in a battleground (if you are lucky enough to leave combat...).
Please increase mana pool for arcane mages to at least 1.5M

Lol, you can throw away these templates, because they don't work at all. There are no pre-defined templates, at all. Don't know how you want to start a PvP season like that.

Idk what have u done but if numbers arent correct u must have done something wrong in the process or something bugged out later.
+1 at some classes having much less stats then they should (my main is spriest) so at 860 and 33 traits im having only 21k intellect while i should have 26 to 27k (forgot wich 1 was right on retail that i've had) and thats actualy a huge loss.+I feel dks got much more primary stats then they should actualy have.

in 2vs2 and 3vs3 I have different intellect.
Why is that ?
Heres a MAJOR bug I just noticed on my SP.
With each arena your intellect is getting lower and lower regardless that your item level i exactly the same.
Each arena reduce your intellect by around 1k.
First arena after a relog I got 23k intellect in arenas.
After like 5-6 arenas my intellect got down to 16900.
pretty fucked up bug :DD
This bug doesn't happen on my unholy DK and arms warrior and havoc DH.
Also I tested it as holy priest and intellect did not decrease. Seems SP have some specific bug.

The PvP templates for retribution paladins is bugged the haste stat is low around 11-13% and my ilvl is 860, and before the stat was around 20-22%. It's impossible to do damage like that please fix it.

up on this plz, very hard to kill healers now with classes like pala having less strength in pvp (i have 16k at 865 when should be at least 19k), sad that noone cares about pvp because if u fixed it properly u can then take time with the pve aspect but u are rushing pve (and so there are a lot of bugs there) and not caring about pvp template (so there is a lot of bug abuse there!)
