Removal of Vote Sites

As of July 1st, 2016 Firestorm will not be available on any of the World of Warcraft servers voting sites. Firestorm is a well-established server, and the new channels of communications are social networks to reach new players. We had some problems with some of the voting sites, some of the servers use fraudulent means to get to the top. Therefore, it's hard for honest servers to achieve the same results, something which Firestorm will not condone. This is a test, if we see a significant drop in enrollment, we'll give Firestorm rankings on these sites.

The vote points system will be reviewed and how it works. We'll implement a daily point system, you can simply go in-game, talk to a non-player character and receive your points. We hope through this system we reward attendance and loyalty. The number of points received depends on your in-game play time, so you will get more points if you're more active.

This new system will be less hassle for you, you'll not have to vote for six ranking sites several times a day, simply login in-game and play according to your activity. You can spend these points in the store, as you can with the current voting points. This system is to arrive next week.

Late comment, but i haven't played since 2 or 3 years ago, i was wondering where were the votes, so i guess that answers it. But from the comments i read bellow, it doesn't seem like it happened, did it? and where is the NPC? (imma google this up)

It would appear that Firestorm is all talk and no trousers. Forever promising things that never happen, like Garrison buildings fixes for example. What progress has been made there in the past 3 months? Answer = None !!! Gromnash is the worst server I have ever played on in terms of the amount of content that just doesn't work. What's the point of setting up a series of World of Warcraft private servers if you have no idea how to script them? That has become somewhat obvious due to the lack of fixes over the months

So where is this so called NPC I have yet to see it in game
Ok so when are you implementing the NPC for it and where will it be its been almost 2 weeks from the first and we still do not have the NPC what gives

So when and where will this NPC be? Also I appreciate that voting is going to be simpler and easier, but I believe that this is a bad move for the server. I, and I believe most others, found out about this site thanks to those voting sites, and I believe that no amount of social media is going to come close to the amount of people who find out about this server on the voting sites. Also, firestorm has always been in the top 5 on most of these sites, so I don't really understand the problem.

Can you guys make it so I don't have any points left: what I mean is I have 5 points left and I can't use them for anything??? Make something worth 1 points of the real points you buy because if I buy 200 points for 20$ I get 215 so I can't use the extra 5 just the 10 ??? Please make some stuff like enchants or gems to be worth 1 point

Nice idea, it's a pain in the you know what having to vote. It's just a way to actually earn what you want by playing, and maybe a better way of acquiring more players by word of mouth or the social networks as you have posted.
