[Garrosh] Green Fire guide

Hello everyone!

Here is a complete guide to help you go through the Warlock green fire questline in the Mists of Pandaria realm (Garrosh).
The quest is not entirely bug-free, as you may face a few issues along the way, but this guide will show you how to avoid them.

STEP ONE :

 

 

Since the NPCs are somewhat buggy, you will need a bit of luck to find them. They respawn every time the server restarts; hopefully, that makes your hunt a little easier!
The NPCs are as follows:

You can also find the item at the auction house, provided some lucky players have managed to obtain it without being able to use it; however, you will need to spend some gold to acquire it.


STEP TWO:

 

  • You will need to merge your Tome with a Healthstone, which you can create as a Warlock.
  • You will then obtain the Code of Xerrath.

 


STEP THREE:

 

  • With the codex, you will obtain the quest: An unusual Tome.
  • To complete it, you will need to speak to your minions: the "Voidwalker" and then the "Succubus".
  • Finally, to complete the quest, you will need to visit your class trainer in the capital city (Stormwind if you are with the Alliance, or Orgrimmar if you are Horde).

 

 

STEP FOUR:

 

  • You will then obtain the quest "A Tale of Six Masters" from your class trainer.
  • You will need to read a book near your class trainer to complete the quest.

For Orgrimmar: it is located to the right of your quest giver, on the ground.

For Stormwind: it can be found on the second floor, to the left of your class trainer.

  • Then turn in the quest.

 

 

STEP FIVE:
 

  • Then, accept the quest "Seeking the Soulstones".
  • You will need to collect 4 soul fragments throughout Outland:

Try both locations, and if they don't work, log out, clear your cache, then return to the game and try again:

 

 

 

  • After that, turn in the quest to your class trainer in the capital cities (Stormwind/Orgrimmar, not to Jubeka, as the quest indicates).

 

 

STEP SIX:

 

  • You will then obtain the quest "Seek the Signal" which will also be auto-completed.
  • Simply click on the tab indicated above the quest in your quest tracker, then turn it in to your class trainer.

 

STEP SEVEN:

 

This quest will auto-complete, preventing you from entering the scenario and finishing the questline.

 

  • To avoid this, accept the quest and then exit the game. Simply logging out is not enough; you must close the game by clicking the red 'X' on your window or by using the "exit game" option in the menu.
  • Return to the game, and the quest will no longer complete automatically.
  • Then, head to where Jubeka is located, in front of the Black Temple.

 

PS: Do not confuse the entrance to the "Black Temple" instance with the Black Temple itself, which is located in Outland. The mark can be found in front of the massive temple situated a few meters to the left of the instance entrance.

 

STEP EIGHT:

 

  • Enter the scenario.
  • Move towards the center, then to the right:

 

 

 

  • Stick to the right-hand wall of the instance and avoid the red markings on the ground. If you fail to avoid them, you will be teleported and forced to start all over again.
  • Then, go to the area in front of the stairs and the three guards.

 

STEP NINE:

 

You cannot pass.

  • Position yourself on the left side and lure the guards toward the workers near the bones.
  • Move aside until the guard gets stuck. You can only aggro the workers on the left once; if you want to do it again, you must log out and log back in.

The guard will detect you, and you will be teleported to the entrance.

Don't panic!

  • Retrace your steps, and you will be able to pass to the left of the staircase where the guard was stationed.
  • Then, climb to the top of the keep.

 

STEP TEN:

 

You’ve made it. After a long journey, fraught with obstacles!

  • Do not turn in the quest.
  • Click on the Healthstone Well located to your left.
  • Then, click on the demon standing in front of the large portal.
  • Channel the spell and wait a few seconds for the cutscenes to finish.
  • Afterward, turn in the quest to Jubeka.
  • Check your spellbook to ensure you have the passive ability "The Codex of Xerrath."

Test your spells!
You should have the green light!

  • You can then log out and log back in; you will be teleported directly to your hearthstone. You can use a portal/your hearthstone.
