Lists of crowd control thats doesn't break under Absorbs effect.
I use touch of karma of my Monk for all the example, because it's the biggest shield , except for the report of my own monk Paralysis.
For all of these CC , except fear effect they should instantly break underabsorb effect when we receives a damage , atm it's doesn't take into consideration that the player receives dmg because he's under absorbs effect . Even under absorb effect , these crowd control must break because it's should take into consideration that player receives damages and break.
But i have no idea why pyshic scream (priest fear) and howl of terror (warlock aoe fear) are not affected.
I know there are others disorient effect , but they work fine so no need to be reported ( ex : scatter etc)
Also note the fact that , during the absorb effect on all my screens (Karma) , i'm using the highest damage possible to show how it doesn't break.

Also the only cc who doesn't break on absorb is the panda racial cc. And it's the only one.
If cc doesn't break on absorb, that means you take no damage when you hit an absorb. So mage could not build icicles, moonkin could not get starsurge procs, warlocks could not gain soulshards, unholy dks could not stack shadow infusion etc etc.

http://www.wowhead.com/spell=5246/intimidating-shout , http://www.wowhead.com/spell=5782/fear , http://www.wowhead.com/spell=51514/hex and http://www.wowhead.com/spell=82691/ring-of-frost will break at a random amount between 1 (instant-break) and 10% of the target health.
And of course, it works with absorb.
Also http://www.wowhead.com/spell=31661/dragons-breath doesn't break on DoT damage and http://www.wowhead.com/spell=105421 Blinding Light (without the Glyph) insta-break on damage.
It doesn't work , i try with paralysis , freezing trap , blind , intimidating shout , they still persist even when i receive the highest burst on my karma

E.g : Life cocoon + paralysis. You can paralysis someone who has life cocoon on him. The paralysis will not break until the life cocoon if fully break down or disappears.
Same for warrior fears Since target doesnt receive direct dmg it doesnt break
I made some update, especially to fix the "absorb" bug. Please check it out.
Scatter shot and freezing trap still don't break on absorb
Turn Evil is tanking too much before breaking . In 40 try it never broke before 5-6% health

Fear (warlock) doesn't break on shield for affliction spec because the dmg they put is too low. example 5k tick 8k tick . Fear just like Turn evil never break before 5% target health. The RNG is incorrect , the fact that it break occur more often in the 8-10% of target health. And it's the same for all kind of fear.
Btw fear is also tanking too much before breaking. It's not even 10% , it's more low.
If you can apply the exact same script of the warriors intimadating shout to fears ( speaking about how much dmg before break) because in retail .
You fear a target with affliction dots on it , 2-3 dots will dmg and the fear will breake.
Here in firestorm we can fear 8sec a guy with absorb or not absorb effect with 3 dots , the fear will breake like after 6-7 sec.
