Greetings Firestorm!

Today, we have several exciting updates to share with you, and we're sure you'll enjoy them!

We're introducing our own Season 4 to The War Within, featuring the Fated system. This also means the current Season 3 will be coming to an end, with rewards distributed as usual.
Boris is also coming to both TWW and BfAR realms, with some changes and improvements. And to top it all off, all points donations will receive a 30% bonus for a limited time.

Let's go through each of these updates in detail:

 

THE WAR WITHIN · SEASON 4: FATED

On October 5, 2026, a brand-new season called Fated will begin. It’s somewhat similar to what we’ve seen before, such as in Shadowlands or Dragonflight, but this time it's unique and customized.

Seasonal currencies from S3 (Crests, Conquest, Bloody Tokens and Restored Coffer Key) will be reset.

Let’s go through everything you need to know, step by step:

 

SEASON OVERVIEW · FATED CONTENT
 

• RAIDS: All three raids are Fated for the whole season: Nerub-ar Palace, Liberation of Undermine and Manaforge Omega. Each boss is retuned to the Season 4 power level, and every raid drops Season 4 item levels with the "Fated" title.
   
• MYTHIC : The pool is the 10 The War Within dungeons, all retuned for the new season: Ara-Kara, City of Threads, The Stonevault, The Dawnbreaker, Cinderbrew Meadery, Darkflame Cleft, Priory of the Sacred Flame, The Rookery, Operation: Floodgate, Eco-Dome Al'dani.
   
• DELVES & WORLD BOSSES: Retuned too, and they drop Season 4 item levels. The Khaz Algar world bosses from every season are back at Season 4 fated power.
   
• PVP:
  • New PvP season with its own rating achievements:
    • Fated Gladiator: The War Within Season 4
    • Fated Warlord: The War Within Season 4
    • Fated Marshal: The War Within Season 4
    • Fated Legend: The War Within Season 4
       
  • New titles: Fated Gladiator, Fated Legend, Fated Marshal and Fated Warlord.
  • Season 4 PvP gear goes up to ilvl 769 (Gladiator).
  • Echo of Fate is earned in every mode: Battlegrounds, rated Battlegrounds, Blitz, arenas and Solo Shuffle.

 

GEAR PROGRESSION & UPGRADES

NEW GEAR ITEM LEVELS ( 39 on every track)

• Explorer: 681 - 704
• Adventurer: 694 - 717
• Veteran: 707 - 730
• Champion: 720 - 743
• Hero: 733 - 756
• Myth: 746 - 769
   

UPGRADES, CRESTS AND TIER SETS

• Four new Fated crests (Weathered, Carved, Runed, Gilded) replace the Ethereal crests. Their caps rise every week.
• Upgrade discounts: the "Outgrow" achievements return for the Fated crests.
• The Great Vault offers gear from all three raids and lists every raid boss you have defeated.
• Tier sets from all three seasons are available at Season 4 item levels.
• Reshii Wraps: The Season 4 track starts at the max Season 3 rank (730), with a new rank unlocking each week. Spend Echoes of Fated at the item upgrade NPC to increase your rank.
  Season 3 ranks 1-6 (694-730) stay free.
   

CRAFTING GEAR

• Spark of Fate: new spark with its Fractured Spark fragments and a weekly cap. Base reagent for Season 4 crafted gear.
• Enchanted Fated Crests raise crafted gear to 746 - 759.
• Starlight Matrices still add 3 or 7 on top, and are now bought with Fated crests.

 

CATALYST & GREAT VAULT CHANGES

The Catalyst and the Great Vault will now work together. A new interface will be available in the Catalyst, allowing you not only to convert a piece of gear, but also to choose which raid you want your Great Vault loot to come from.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's important to note that:

• If you never choose, the default is Season 3 (Manaforge Omega). 
   
• Not using the catalyst in the first week changes nothing: charges are kept (1 per week) and the choice applies whenever you use it.
   
• The choice only affects tier set pieces: catalyst conversions and the tier-set roll of the Great Vault. Every other Great Vault item still comes from all three raids.
  For example, if you want the Catalyst to convert an item into a piece of the Manaforge tier set, you need to select Manaforge Omega in the Catalyst. However, don’t forget to change this setting later if you want the Great Vault to offer options from the Nerub-ar Palace or Liberation of Undermine.
   
• You can switch your choice wherever you want, but the Great Vault uses the choice active when your vault is generated for the week (the first time it is shown after the reset).
   
• Tier tokens looted from raid bosses still give their own raid's set, whatever you chose.

 

TURBO BOOST CHIP MECHANIC UPDATED TO SEASON 4

We’ve also decided to implement the Puzzle Chip system for Season 4. The system works the same way as before: you’ll receive 3 chips during the first week, followed by 1 per week, with a catch-up system in place. Choose wisely, as you’ll only be able to have 9 chips in total per character.

 

NEW CURRENCY: ECHO OF FATE

This new Fated season introduces a new currency called Echoes of Fated, which can be earned from Mythic runs, with higher-level keys rewarding more Echoes, raid bosses, with the final bosses rewarding a higher amount, PvP matches and Delves.

Located in Dornogal, right in front of the bank, several NPCs (5 vendors · Pythagorus, Unicus, Arturos, Jakkus and Horos) will be available where you can purchase rewards in exchange for Echoes.

Keep in mind that in Season 4, you’ll need to visit an Upgrade NPC to upgrade your cloak. For example, you can visit Cuzolth in Dornogal.

PvP SEASON 3 REWARDS

Greetings Firestorm PvP community!

The current Season PvP - Astral Gladiator is ending on October 4, 2026! Rewards will be distributed during the week of October 19.

Here's the reward list, based on the following ranges:

Rewards will be distributed in the 2v2 bracket:

• Titles and Achievements:
  • Top 8: The achievement Astral Gladiator: The War Within Season 3 and Gladiator: The War Within Season 3, which grants the title Astral Galdiator, and the mount Astral Gladiator's Fel Bat.
  • Top 15: The achievement Gladiator: The War Within Season 3 and the mount Astral Gladiator's Fel Bat.
     
• We also reward the top 50 players with Firestorm Points, following this scale:
  • Top 1-10: 750 Firestorm Points.
  • Top 11-20: 350 Firestorm Points.
  • Top 21-30: 225 Firestorm Points.
  • Top 31-50: 120 Firestorm Points.

Rewards will be distributed in the Rated Battleground Blitz:

• Top 1-20: The achievement Astral Marshal: The War Within Season 3 and the title Astral Marshal OR the achievement Astral Warlord: The War Within Season 3 and the title Astral Warlord.
   

Rewards will be distributed in the Solo Shuffle bracket:

• Titles and Achievements:
  • Top 20: The achievement Astral Legend: The War Within Season 3 and title Astral Legend.

 

The Fated Gladiator season will start as soon as the next season is implemented on Dornogal.

PvE SEASON 3 REWARDS

Greetings Firestorm PvE community!

The current PvE season is almost over! Check out the rewards based on the following ranges:

• Title and Achievement:
  • Top 20: The achievement Unbound Hero: The War Within Season Three and the Title the Unbound Hero.

 

 

BORIS RETURNS!

Boris will work a little differently this time and will be available from October 2nd to October 11th.
Please note this gives only one boost per account, not per character. Once you use the boost on a character, Boris cannot be used again on any other character on that account.

We've listed all the changes below, so make sure to read them carefully before choosing your character, as Boris can only be used once and there will be no exceptions.
 

 BORIS IN BFA: REFORGED 

You'll find Boris right where your new character starts: in Boralus for Alliance and Dazar'alor for Horde. 

What you get with Boris:

• Level 120, instantly
• Your Heart of Azeroth, with the introductory questline already behind you
• A full set of gear at normal dungeon item level, chosen for your loot specialization
• Spare weapons for your other specs, so a respec doesn't leave you empty-handed
• Four extra PvP trinkets that work on any specialization
• One random Flight Point discovered in each zone
• 1,000 gold
• A lift to the capital hub
   

Before talking to Boris, you'll get a confirmation window showing the specialization he's going to use. Make sure it's the one you want before accepting, as Boris will use it to set your specialization and build your gear around it.

A quick heads-up:

• Your starting outfit is replaced, not kept.
• The best gear for your character will be equipped automatically, while the rest will go into your bags. Any items that don’t fit will be sent to your mailbox.

 

 BORIS IN THE WAR WITHIN

Boris waits in Orgrimmar / Stormwind and every race's starting zone, including allied races, Dracthyr, Earthen, Death Knights, Demon Hunters and the Exile's Reach ships. 

What you get with Boris:

• Level 80, straight into The War Within
• A confirmation box shows exactly which specialization your gear is for, so set your loot specialization first
• A full set of this season's Mythic 0 dungeon gear (Champion 681), chosen for your spec and equipped where it's an upgrade. (Your starting gear is cleared out to make room. Anything that doesn't fit in your bags is mailed to you)
• Every weapon type your class can use, for your other specializations
• The season's 4 Aspirant PvP trinkets (Astral 658, Explorer 8/8)
• 4 Silkweave Satchels, equipped right away
• 1000 gold
• Dragonriding with 4 dragon mounts, plus every Khaz Algar flight path
• Dragonflight & War Within intros skipped, with no leftover quest items
• Hearthstone set to Dornogal, and a teleport there, where the K'aresh campaign begins

Your starting gear is removed. Anything that doesn't fit in your bags is mailed to you.
