It’s time for one final heads-up before the big release.

LET’S GET INTO THE DETAILS
The PTR is now closed as we prepare for the official release. Please remember that nothing you did or obtained on the PTR will carry over to the live realm.
- Some of you asked about name reservations. We decided not to introduce such a system. It would inevitably favor only part of the community, while preventing abuse and making the process fair for everyone would require unnecessary complexity for something that ultimately has very little impact after launch.
- BFA: Reforged launches with Patch 8.0 content, while using 8.3.7 class tuning. Everyone starts fresh.
- All Reforged-specific features are available through Plunderforged Bay, our dedicated hub. During your journey, you’ll discover the area and everything it has to offer.
- As mentioned in previous posts, all Rank 1 Essences will be available from the start. Our current plan is for each new season to unlock the next rank, but keep in mind that this may change depending on progression and player feedback.
- Season duration will be dynamic.
Our commitment is to keep progression balanced and the game feeling fresh from beginning to end. If we see strong retention and players are still actively enjoying a patch, it may last longer. If progression starts to feel stale, we may move forward sooner.
- Your account-wide cosmetics will also be available across our servers whenever they exist in that expansion. Whether you play on TWW or BFA, if the cosmetic exists there, you’ll have access to it.

SEASON 1
- Season 1 begins immediately on release. Uldir Mythic will open one week later.
- The Shop will also be available from launch.
EXPECT A FEW CRASHES
Nothing is perfect. 
We’ve done everything we can to make the launch as smooth as possible, but we all know how expansion launches usually go.
If crashes happen, give us a little patience. The team will be watching the realm closely and fixing issues as they appear.
